Looking forward to the Tweed Run

Tomorrow morning I will be heading off to a secret location for the truly unique cycling event that is the Tweed Run.

I will decked out in as much tweed as I dare to join another 300 or so cyclists for a gentile amble around London. One of the things I am really looking forward to is seeing all the outfits and vintage bikes. Many put in a huge amount of effort/thought into what they wear. The Tweed Run makes a welcome change from constantly seeing Lycra everywhere.

The weather looks decidedly changeable. I was hoping to get lots of photos of all the great outfits and bikes. I will be able to do this of course but I suspect I am going to have to take a waterproof camera.

I am also really looking forward to using the Garmin 810 sent for review purposes by Garmin UK. Should be a great day no matter what the weather so keep coming back to check out my blog post on it.

In the meantime have a good weekend and try and get out on your bike for your own adventure.

  1. Hello!

I have yet to do a tweed ride but I have hopes for one in my future.

I just discovered your blog and LOVE it. I'm a Brompton owner from the US (pacific NW). It is so refreshing to see someone who is as enthusiastic about their Brompton as I.

Do you have a Facebook Page?
I look forward to your posts.
    Cheers!
