Well another milestone has been reached. 14,000 page views! I am very pleased at this and thank all my loyal readers and those who dip in now and again. With regards the SL2 vs the ML6 I do find the more upright ML6 strange after riding the S Type for a few days but love them both. The new higher psi Marathon tyres are brilliant and I think I will have to get them on the Orange Brompton. Marathons are great for winter riding but there doesn't seem to be much of one at the moment. I'm not complaining about that though.

  1. Have you ridden the Marathons on snow and slush? I have ridden them only in the rain here.

I would be curious of your thoughts on this.

Also, how is the braking? Are you using Brompton's original brake pads or others?

    Paz :)

  2. Hello Chandra. The Marathons on my Orange Brompton coped pretty well with the snow and slush last year. I always felt confident riding with them. As for braking they are pretty good as long as you are quite even with the pressure. I use the orginal Brompton brake pads and have always found them to be very good.
