Made it in America?

Back in the 1980s if you were a British music artist, making it in America was huge. I suspect not a great deal has changed. If you follow on Instagram @orangebrompton you will know that I occasionally use songs by one of my favourite bands 'Depeche Mode' to go with my photos. They definitely made it in America and after the last few weeks, I am beginning to think that my Brompton brothers and sisters across the pond might be reading a little more of my humble offerings. 

I really do like hearing from readers from all across the world and occasionally I even get some photos. I have heard from Brompton owners all over America and particularly like hearing when they have mirrored what I do by going for a cycle in their city and taking photos. 

Here in London America is never too far away

The last few months has seen my readership increase a great deal here in the UK but China, Japan, South Korea and especially the USA. This is wonderful. It has always been a dream of mine to visit America. I have not managed to do so as (I am ashamed to admit) that I am one of those people who is reluctant to fly. I would be okay on a ship but these are few and far between and would take an age. As far as where in America I would go, there are so many locations, this would be a near impossible task to choose!

So, to all my American readers out there, thank you for continuing to read my rambling, emailing me with kind words, sending me the odd photo and for your generous offers to show me around your part of the world. Keep reading!!
